Ds’BONES
After taking an interest in playing rhythm bones, a folk instrument, and using my skill developed with Innovative Percussion, I setup a woodworking shop in the back of the farm where I lived in Brentwood, Tennessee and now in Knoxville, Tennessee. Ds’Bones fabricates bones made of various woods and finishes including maple, walnut, boxwood, locust, and red cedar woods. Contact me if you’re interested in custom made bones.
The Surface dwellers
My favorite band, The Surface Dwellers! Through friends and farms, I meet Katie and Daniel. They asked me to play with their small acoustic Americana style band. I’ve been playing with them since 2022. Playing venues in the greater Knoxville area in The Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. We play all of your favorites including folk, rock, country, and pop style covers, as well as originals. You’ll be surprised! Checkout our sound at the link below.

Bearden high school friends of the smokIEs club
Recognizing the need to involve the younger generation in efforts to preserve and protect the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, I started-up a Friends of the Smokies Bearden High School Club 2012 - 2014. The Friends of the Smokies Club gave students an opportunity to participate in monthly club meetings and updated members on Friends of the Smokies news, special events, and upcoming opportunities for community service hours. Club members voluntarily became a "Friend" status member of Friends of the Smokies with the membership fee going directly to Friends of the Smokies. Through the club, students had opportunities to donate their time to Friends of the Smokies for special projects including trail reconstruction, rehabilitate wilderness areas, repair backcountry shelters and campsites, and participate in events and fundraisers.
